PDF to Excel

There's no reliable client-side library for detecting table structure (merged cells, multi-column layouts) in an arbitrary PDF — it works passably on simple grids and breaks on anything real. This tool sends the file to a server-side converter instead of a client-side attempt that would quietly produce bad spreadsheets. See docs/DECISIONS.md 2026-09-03.
