PDF to PDF/A

Genuine PDF/A compliance needs font-embedding, ICC color profile, and XMP metadata handling that pdf-lib can't fully guarantee — a client-side "best effort" conversion risks producing a file that claims PDF/A compliance but fails a real validator (e.g. veraPDF). This tool sends the file to a server-side conversion tool instead of shipping a fake-compliant client-side result. See docs/DECISIONS.md 2026-09-03.
